Tulane School of Architecture and Built Environment invites you to Career Days 2026, our annual hybrid career event designed to connect students with leading companies across architecture, design, and the broader built environment industries.
This year’s in-person event returns to the newly renovated Richardson Memorial Hall on Tulane’s uptown campus in New Orleans, alongside virtual sessions hosted on Handshake. Join us for an opportunity to:

Meet talented undergraduate and graduate students exploring careers in architecture, all areas of design (including graphic design, interior design, textile and more), landscape architecture, real estate development, historic preservation, sustainable urbanism, and social entrepreneurship and innovation.
Recruit for internships and entry-level positions and discover emerging talent in the field.
Build your presence at Tulane and expand your candidate pipeline.

Virtual Information Sessions via Handshake (Wednesday, February 4)

For those firms unable to attend Career Days 2026 in person, the Tulane School of Architecture and Built Environment is excited to again partner with Handshake to run virtual information sessions on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 10:00am-12:00pm CST. During these information sessions, you will be able to meet students, collect resumes, and provide information on why your firm is a great place to work through group and 1:1 sessions on the platform.
Handshake is offering a great deal of support for this format, so you can feel confident.

New to Handshake?
Handshake is Tulane's campus wide recruiting platform designed to bring job seekers and prospective employers together. Students and alumni can upload resumes, search for jobs and internships, apply for positions, register for career events, and more! To register your company please complete the following steps:

Create an account at tulane.joinhandshake.com
Select “Arts & Design” as the profession and “Architecture and Planning”, “Design” or “Real Estate” as the employment industry and job function.
Be sure to indicate Tulane University as a recruitment school.

Interview Day (Friday, February 6)

The Tulane School of Architecture and Built Environment is also happy to be able to continue our tradition of providing the opportunity for firms and companies to interview students one-on-one for summer or full-time positions on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 9am-12pm in-person on Tulane’s main campus.

If you register to interview students, the School’s Career Services team will be in touch in late January 2026 with student resumes and portfolios for your review. The School’s Career Services team will then ask for your top choices and create an interview schedule based on this input and our students’ wishes. Each Friday interview schedule will be sent in advance during the week of February 2, 2026.

Materials Shipping

Each company will be provided a 4 or 6-foot table for the Career Fair (to be confirmed by mid-January). For any materials being shipped to Career Fair, please use the following address:

Career Days is Tulane School of Architecture and Built Environment's signature, annual career event dedicated to connecting current students with employers through both virtual and in-person formats.

Our school is home to hundreds of students working toward degrees in Architecture, Design, Historic Preservation, Landscape Architecture and Engineering, Real Estate Development, Social Innovation, and Sustainable Urbanism.

This free event provides excellent opportunities for companies to discover emerging talent and for students to learn about potential career paths and network with industry professionals within architecture, design, and the built environment.
