Originally built in 1908, the five-story Richardson Memorial Hall, which recently welcomed students back after a major renovation and expansion, now boasts 17,000 square feet of new space, enhancing the original 45,000-square-foot structure and recasting its interior spaces. The renovation features new studios, review spaces, classrooms, a gallery, offices and meeting rooms.

Addition begins at RMH
May 18, 2023: New slab was poured in April for the addition on the back (eastern side) of the building. Once complete, the addition will expand the building by 15,000 square feet, supplementing the building's existing 45,000 square feet.
Structural repairs at RMH are being completed
March 24, 2023: Major structural work is being completed at Richardson Memorial Hall, the historic home of Tulane School of Architecture, and framing of the building's addition will begin soon.
