Lecture: h2o architectes "Openings"
Sponsored by the Mary and Arthur Davis Fund.
In-Person Lecture: Richardson Hall, Room 117 | March 7, 5:15pm - 7:00pm CT
Please join Jean-Jacques Hubert and Antoine Santiard as they review the work of their firm h2o architectes.
Their presentation, Openings, will address three themes that occupy a central place in their approach to architecture: creating a dialogue with the existing building and context (their history, heritage value, and evolution of uses through the years); foreseeing uses behind the clients expectation, enabling both individual and collective appropriation and fostering social binding; and paying attention to the environmental stakes, be it through the process of rehabilitation of through the use or optimized mixed construction methods.
The lecture will take place in Richardson Hall (Building 5 on Campus Map), Room 117. This lecture is open to the public through registration below. This event will follow all Tulane and Orleans Parish COVID-19 restrictions.
