As the first Martin Bucksbaum Professor in Practice of Urban Planning and Design at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design, Busquets has served as Head of Urban Planning for the Barcelona City Council and contributed to preparations for the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Busquets will give an inspiring lecture/discussion panel presented by the Davis Washington Mitchell Lecture. Following his presentation, Margarita Jover, Professor at Tulane School of Architecture and Program Director of Landscape-Engineering, will respond to his insights on urban planning and design.
