Design Showcase

The Annual Design Showcase + Fashion Show returns for its 2nd year, featuring studio work from 8 Design courses and over 100 students. This event is an opportunity for our students to celebrate the creative and innovative projects they’ve completed over the last two semesters. Work will include prints pinned up, lighting and seating prototypes on display, digital work on screen, and wearable designs on the runway. Celebrate the creative growth and academic success of our students over food, drinks, and music!

This event is free and open to TuSA students and family/friends, as well as faculty and staff, local designers, artists and creatives, and 'VIP' guest reviewers.

• Backpack project from course DESG 1005 - Fundamentals of Design & Making with Hannah Kenyon (coordinator), Kelly Tierney, Marion Forbes, and Jesse Toohey
• Design for the Cause project from course DESG 2305 - Visual Communication for Advocacy with Meghan Saas (coordinator), Adam Newman, Thomas Wimberly
• Light Fixture Design project from course DESG 2005 - Design Studio II with Nick Perrin (coordinator), Hannah Berryhill, Jonathan House
• Textile Design project from course DESG 4005 - Design Studio III with Luz Briceño
• Projection Mapping project from course DESG 4005 – Design Studio III with Adam Newman
• Typographic Activation project from course DESG 4005 – Design Studio III with Meghan Saas
• Portmanteau project from course DESG 3010 - Prototyping Solutions with Nick Perrin
• Textile Construction project from DESG 4930 - Textile Design with Luz Briceño
• Design Senior Capstone project from DESG 4950 - Capstone with Meghan Saas (coordinator), Hannah Berryhill, Nick Perrin, Kelly Tierney, Marion Forbes
