Gina LaMacchia, MSRED’13, a graduate from the program’s second cohort and Director of Real Estate Development at Green Coast Enterprises, has spearheaded notable adaptive reuse projects like the Pythian and 2606 St Louis Street, featuring Hey! Cafe, Flour Moon Bagels, and Skeeta Hawk Brewing. 

Her expertise extends to teaching in the Real Estate Undergraduate program, where she developed and led the capstone Design + Development Studio Class. Currently, Gina is set to embark on the renovation of a historic commercial building in downtown Lake Charles, recent projects include the New Orleans Homeownership Center, 882 Montegut, and Manufactured Urban Infill Housing.
