During college, she worked at the Historic American Engineering Record (HAER), contributing to important documentation projects. These works are now in the Library of Congress. In 2003, she joined SEPHORA, spending 10 years designing stores and optimizing processes.

In 2012, a biking accident caused her a traumatic brain injury, sidelining her career for years. Nonetheless, from 2013-2018, she operated Cityhopper Studios, her art business, all while raising four kids. Specializing in pen & ink architectural portraits, Erin's art was featured in various shows.

Fully recovered in 2019, Erin returned to architectural design, freelancing part-time. A fellow '02 alum, Jesse Balaity, helped her re-enter the field. In 2020, she displayed her art at the National Stationery Show. Then, the pandemic shifted her course. In 2021, Erin joined Motional, a driverless vehicle startup, and quickly rose to become their first global facilities designer. Now, she manages projects ranging from office remodels to high-tech labs and electric vehicle garages.
