Beth Nazar
Associate Director for Faculty Affairs
Beth Nazar currently serves as the Associate Director for Faculty Affairs at the Tulane School of Architecture (TuSA), where she plays a key role in managing and improving faculty-related processes, including searches, onboarding, promotions, tenure reviews, and sabbaticals. She works closely with the Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs, contributing to strategic planning and policy development to support the professional growth and overall experience of the faculty. Beth’s efforts help advance TuSA’s mission by fostering a supportive and effective academic environment. In addition, Beth is actively involved in leadership development at Tulane as a Leadership and Resilience Coach with the Tulane Leadership Institute (TULI). Before joining TuSA, Beth spent over a decade with the Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) at Tulane, where she supervised teams and led initiatives that enhanced the engagement and retention of international students and scholars. She also served as Chair of the Staff Advisory Council. Beth holds an M.A. in Romance Languages from the University of New Orleans and a B.A. in International Relations from Tufts University, with over 20 years of experience in higher education.
