Adjunct Lecturer in Design

Sophie Reich is a technical designer and fabricator working in exhibit, experiential, and architectural design. She has over a decade of experience developing projects for museums, cultural institutions, and public spaces across the United States.

She is currently a Senior Detailer at Luci Creative, an exhibit and experience design firm, where her work focuses on realizing design intent with an eye towards efficient and successful project delivery. Her professional experience also includes the technical design of fine art sculptures, architectural and interior spaces, music festivals, professional sporting events, and broadcast television. Select projects include work for the World War II Museum, Mount Vernon, California Science Center, Sazerac House, and BB King Museum.

Outside of work, Sophie pursues furniture, objects, and interactive experiments, and has a particular interest in vintage technology and design. She enjoys hands-on fabrication of small-scale personal projects that explore materiality and mechanical systems.
