Philip Lopez

Director of Finance and Budget

Phillip is the Director of Finance and Budget, leading the fiscal processes and financial planning for the school. Phillip has worked in higher education since 2014, beginning his career in accounting and grant management with Tulane's School of Public Health. Phillip then spent six years working as the finance and operations manager in the School of Professional Advancement, where he developed program budgets, forecasted models for new programs, and oversaw all departmental financial activity. Phillip was born and raised in Kenner, LA, and has lived in and around New Orleans his entire adult life.

Outside of work, you can find Phillip playing ultimate frisbee around the city, sitting at a brewery, or trying a new place to eat. Phillip also loves food and has found a passion for cooking. He enjoys shopping at the farmers market every week, walking his dog at the lake, and spending time with his wife and friends.
