Page Comeaux
Adjunct Lecturer - Architecture
Page is a registered architect, author, and organizer rooted in New Orleans. He returned to his native Louisiana after receiving a Master of Architecture from Yale University in 2020. His personal work and professional projects with Colloqate Design operate across scales, contexts, and communities in pursuit of spaces that are shaped by liberatory and participatory practices. Supplementing his design efforts, Page uses writing to amplify and explore nuanced social issues and inspire action. His book, Super Max, critically examines the architecture of mass incarceration at Angola Prison, crafting new narratives about its design and adding to the chorus of research demonstrating the perpetuation of systemic injustices in the built environment. Page blends his professional expertise with activism as an organizer with NOLA to Angola, a 170-mile fundraiser bike ride that combines the joy of cycling with the mission of keeping
families connected to their incarcerated loved ones. The annual event funds transportation and raises awareness about the contours of Louisiana’s justice landscape.
