Martha Pearson

Adjunct Lecturer in Design

Martha Pearson is a New Orleans based designer with over 15 years of experience working in architecture, interior design, furniture, and production design. She is currently the Owner/Principal of Martha Pearson Designs, a full-service design firm focusing on interiors, preservation, and furniture design for commercial, hospitality, and residential projects.

Although Martha began her career in finance in NYC, she always knew her passion was design. After attending the New York School of Interior Design and obtaining a Master of Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design, she established her professional foundations while working at winning design firms in both NYC and New Orleans before establishing her own firm in New Orleans in 2018.  

Martha has successfully worked on projects of all scales and scopes, from new construction residential design to music-festival production to large-scale mixed-used historic renovations. She has worked in numerous markets on a variety of project types, fostering her adaptive and tailored approach to the design process.
