Operations Administrator II

Keyoka Nelson serves as the Operations Administrator II for Tulane University’s School of Architecture and Built Environment, where she leads critical administrative functions and supports the strategic and operational needs of the school. With more than a decade of experience across financial aid, accounting, student employment, and university operations, she brings a comprehensive understanding of higher education administration and a proven ability to drive operational excellence.

Throughout her career at Tulane, Keyoka has built a reputation for strengthening processes, improving efficiencies, and developing solutions that support students, faculty, and staff. She plays a key role in managing administrative operations, enhancing workflows, and ensuring that institutional processes are effective, responsive, and student-centered. Her collaborative leadership style, commitment to continuous improvement, and dedication to service have made her a trusted partner across the university community.

A proud New Orleans native and two-time Tulane graduate, Keyoka holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science in Health and Wellness Management. She is also a graduate of the Tulane Leadership Institute’s Anti-Racism Leadership Program and has actively supported initiatives focused on equity, diversity, inclusion, and campus safety.
