Ken Richmond
Administrative Program Coordinator
In this role, Ken Richmond provides academic, programmatic, and administrative support coordinator for designated academic programs in the School of Architecture and Built Environment. Ken’s academic journey includes obtaining a bachelor’s and master’s degree in public health education and promotion from Mississippi University for Women. Over the past 25 years in public service, he’s gained diverse experience across four distinct university departments: K-12 Outreach, the Dean of Engineering's office, Head Start Extension Services, Department of Public Health, and now newly added- school of architecture. This varied exposure has provided him with unique insights into higher level academic and community needs.
He firmly believes in the power of leading with empathy and by example. He is a shoe collector, music afficionado, food critique, and spending quality time with his wife and two kids. He is excited to join a growing and innovative team at TuSABE!
