Dwan is a global executive, multimedia producer, and cultural strategist, integrating over 25 years of experience in public service, diplomacy, and development. A graduate of the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies and Xavier University of New Orleans, Dwan's extensive international development and business strategy background fuels her focus on consulting and designing social impact startups. She connects people to policy and applies cultural insights to product development, brand positioning, and strategic partnerships.
Returning to her hometown of New Orleans, Dwan applies her expertise in cultural impact strategy to lead teams dedicated to international affairs and connecting local initiatives to global movements.
As Assistant Director of Social Justice and Student Leadership Programs at Tulane University's Center for Public Service and an Adjunct Lecturer in the School of Architecture, Dwan enriches students' understanding of various industries and their cultural ties. Her approach is rooted in design thinking principles and building collective models.
With leadership roles at prominent international brands such as Peace Corps, Operation Crossroads Africa, Turner Broadcasting, CNN, and Cartoon Network, Dwan has gained invaluable experience in managing diverse teams and implementing cultural impact strategies on a global scale. As the founder of "Gypsie Roller," a culturally inspired cycling gear and apparel company, Dwan advocates for equitable transportation infrastructure initiatives and raises the visibility of BIPOC representation in cycling. Passionate about inspiring the next generation of community-focused leaders and global entrepreneurs, Dwan embodies the ethos of living life "off the wall" as she continues to make a meaningful impact worldwide. Dwan's diverse professional background reflects a lifelong dedication to driving transformative change through intercultural understanding, coalition building, and leadership development.
