Casey Last

Adjunct Professor

Casey Last is an alumni returning as an adjunct professor at Tulane School of Architecture. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art with a concentration in painting and a minor in psychology and architectural studies from Tulane University, followed by a Master of Architecture from Tulane School of Architecture. She has practiced professionally in art and design, architecture, interiors, and urban planning.

Casey continues to explore hand-sketching and watercolor as design tools in conjunction with complex digital modeling and rendering technologies. She has seen projects through from concept design through to construction, both locally in New Orleans and in Tampa, Florida.

She has previously led the community engagement committee and managed the mentorship program at the last firm she worked at. She also established and executed pro-bono design work for city partners and a local disaster relief organization.

Casey is actively pursuing licensure and continues to explore design through the built and living environment.
