Bryan Bradshaw

Adjunct Lecturer in Design

Bryan is an artist, designer, and activist at Colloqate Design where he works on projects that focus on expanding community access to, and building power through the design of social, civic, and cultural spaces.

His desire to promote representation of groups that are underserved and seeing them recognize the agency that they have in their communities to affect change fuels the work that he does. He is Vice President of the National Organization of Minority Architects - Louisiana Chapter (NOMA Louisiana) as well as the Program Coordinator of NOMA Louisiana’s Project Pipeline program. This program hosts an annual summer camp as well as workshops and tours for students throughout the academic school year to give them exposure to the field of architecture, design, and planning.

Bryan has been the recipient of awards in the Green Project’s Salvage Design Competitions where he has been able to combine his passions for art, architecture, and design through metal fabrication and sculpture.

He enjoys repurposing materials to breathe new life into them. This allows him to expand his level of comfort to work with a variety of materials to create mixed media artwork that often achieve the look of familiar images.

Outside of art and design, Bryan dabbles in many things including rugby, soccer, long distance running, and cooking Guyanese and other Caribbean dishes that he grew up eating in Queens, NY.
