Alvin Green

Building Manager

Alvin Green brings over a decade of experience in the construction industry to his role as Building Manager for TUSABE at Tulane University. In this position, he oversees the daily operations of the building, including facilities maintenance, space and furniture coordination, vendor management, safety compliance, and event logistics. Alvin plays a key role in ensuring that the TUSABE environment remains functional, efficient, and welcoming for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Prior to joining TUSABE, Alvin owned and operated his own flooring installation company for more than ten years, working as a subcontractor on both residential and commercial projects. His extensive field experience provided him with a strong foundation in construction practices, job site coordination, and client service.
Alvin has also held administrative and technical roles at Tulane University and in the private sector, including positions within the Internal Medicine department and Bonitz Flooring Inc. Across these roles, he has demonstrated a high level of reliability, initiative, and professionalism.
A graduate of Warren Easton High School (Class of 2013), Alvin is proficient in Microsoft Office applications, facilities systems, and project coordination. He is known for his problem-solving skills, strong communication, and ability to adapt seamlessly between technical and administrative responsibilities.
