All classes are suspended for the week of March 16. Starting the week of March 23, all classes will resume entirely online. Tulane School of Architecture (TuSA) remains open with most faculty and staff working remotely. Students can be granted access to work in the building only with prior approval from the school. At this time, we are not hosting admissions tours.

Tulane is working with students who have difficult personal circumstances that would make leaving campus a challenge or will face complications in online learning once they return home. In response, we have set up the Tulane Student Emergency Aid and Assistance Fund to address current student needs.

Alexandra Miller


Alexandra Miller is a managing principal at Asakura Robinson Company where she specializes in planning for inclusive, equitable economic development and community revitalization. Her work focuses on the economic and social empowerment of communities that help residents shape their own urban environments. Her areas of expertise include economic development planning, community development finance, physical and economic resilience, and public engagement.

Alex is dedicated to leveraging bottom-up community development strategies with connections to regional resources in order to create real community-driven improvements in local opportunities and quality of life. She also prioritizes in-depth community engagement in every project and is a co-founder of Social Agency Lab, a collaborative of urban planners and anthropologists who engage communities in creative projects and urban interventions.
