Abe Passman

Program Manager of the Landscape Architecture + Engineering Program

Abe is the program manager for the joint Landscape Architecture and Engineering program.

Abe was born in Wisconsin, grew up in Minnesota, and spent a year in Israel as well as traveling to over ten different countries after graduating from high school, and then finally made his way to New Orleans to attend Tulane.

He graduated from Tulane in 2022 with a B.A. in Philosophy. As a student, Abe was a chair for the NTC Honor Board, president of the Tulane men’s frisbee team, and was published in an undergraduate academic journal.

Before his current role, Abe worked as a project assistant in the Newcomb-Tulane Office of Academic Enrichment for a year, and then as an administrative
program coordinator at the School of Architecture.

He is an avid photographer of nature, wildlife, and Mardi Gras (he earned second place in the 2022 Mardi Gras photo contest). Other hobbies of his include doing 5,000 piece jigsaw puzzles, loving movies, binging TV shows, and being a dad for dog, Bubba.
