Jesús Utrillas Acerete

Pre-doctoral Teaching Fellow in Architecture

Jesús Utrillas Acerete is an architect from Valencia School of Architecture (ETSAV-UPV). He earned
the title of Master’s Degree in Advanced Studies in Architecture-Barcelona (MBArch) with the specialization in Project, Process and Programming at the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSABUPC). He also obtained the title of Masters in Advanced Architectural Projects (MPAA) at the Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM-UPM).
He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Program in Advanced Architectural Design (ETSAM-UPM)

The aim of his research is to understand the role of architecture today.

A non-neutral discipline
that participates in the complexity of the contemporary society in which it is embedded. The
Guggenheim Helsinki Design Competition is the case study of his research.
