Program Manager, Faculty Employment

In this role, Alexandria Andara manages all aspects of faculty hiring and onboarding. In addition, she will manage payroll functions and timekeeping for the school’s staff. She is excited to join a growing and innovative team at TuSA!

Prior to joining the Tulane School of Architecture, Alexandria worked for 7 years at the Tulane Law School in the Finance & Administration department. She provided extensive administrative support to the staff, faculty, and students with the various Tulane systems and processes.

Alexandria received a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Disaster and Collective Trauma from Tulane University in 2021. During the program, she worked at the City of New Orleans Shelter & Engagement Center, also known as the Low Barrier Shelter, as an MSW intern working with the guests at the shelter on creating housing goals and guiding them through the process. She loves to volunteer and work in the greater New Orleans community and spends her time organizing disaster relief efforts and giving back to the community through her church and other local organizations. She also enjoys traveling and one can typically find her planning a trip in the near future!
