Margie Tillman Ayres

Artist, muralist, and illustrator Margie Tillman Ayres was named one of New Orleans' "Top Female Achievers" by New Orleans Magazine. Adore Magazine of the Times Picayune named her one of "2022's Most Influential New Orleanians." Her most recent commissions have been murals for Ayu Bakehouse, Mister Mao, The Broadside, Smoke and Honey, the Waldorf School of New Orleans as well as illustrations for the likes of Pyrex, Trader Joe’s, and The University of British Columbia. Her canvas paintings were selected to be shown in The Contemporary Arts section of the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival in 2024 and 2025.
