Assistant Professor Assia Crawford has been elected to serve on the board of ACADIA

Assistant Professor Assia Crawford has been elected to serve on the board of ACADIA. The Association for Computer Aided Design in Architecture is an international network of digital design researchers and professionals. It facilitates critical investigations into the role of computation in architecture, planning, and building science, encouraging innovation in design creativity, sustainability, and education.
Crawford has been active in ACADIA, just recently presenting the paper, “Subtractive Fabrication of Large-Scale Mycelium Bio-Composites," and introducing her book , Bios in Search of Zoe, at the 2025 ACADIA conference.
