Tulane Home

All classes are suspended for the week of March 16. Starting the week of March 23, all classes will resume entirely online. Tulane School of Architecture (TuSA) remains open with most faculty and staff working remotely. Students can be granted access to work in the building only with prior approval from the school. At this time, we are not hosting admissions tours.

Please continue to check your Tulane email, Canvas, the TuSA COVID-19 FAQ, and the Tulane Emergency Management page for updates.

Tulane is working with students who have difficult personal circumstances that would make leaving campus a challenge or will face complications in online learning once they return home. In response, we have set up the Tulane Student Emergency Aid and Assistance Fund to address current student needs.

As an Academic Certification Officer for Athletics, Jada Buckner works with student athletes and is interested in mentoring, leadership development, and guiding students through complex questions about their life and goals.

Previously, Buckner worked as a  postgraduate intern for academic and membership affairs with the NCAA in Indianapolis. Prior to her time with the NCAA, she was an admissions counselor at East Carolina University. As a former student athlete, Buckner has witnessed first-hand the jarring transition from wanting to be a professional athlete to changing course. Based on her own experience, Buckner is eager to support others students, especially athletes, in their professional and career development so that they feel prepared to contribute to the working world and use the skills they learned to benefit to the working world once they finish their collegiate career.

Buckner has Master’s degrees in Exercise Physiology and Sport Performance from East Tennessee State University.
