Geoengineering Toolkit for Designers

The Tulane School of Architecture is excited to welcome Martha Schwartz who will be presenting a lecture titled Geoengineering Toolkit for Designers on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 5:15-6:30pm CT. 

Schwartz is a Professor of Practice at Harvard Graduate School of Design. This lecture will provide a deep dive into non-traditional climate crisis remediation techniques will illustrate how these large-scale solutions to climate change are needed for large-scale problems, and how ideas that can be used within landscape architecture. After her initial presentation, Schwartz will be joined by a faculty respondent for an interdisciplinary conversation about her remarks and to answer any audience questions. The faculty respondent is: 

  • Judith Kinnard, FAIA, Harvey-Wadsworth Chair of Landscape Urbanism, Professor of Architecture, Tulane School of Architecture

This lecture will be VIRTUAL. REGISTRATION for anyone outside of the TuSA community (students, faculty, staff) is required  and ends on Monday, November 8 at 11:00am. All registrants will then receive a unique link to access the webinar via their email on Monday afternoon. If you are a TuSA community member, you will receive the link and password for the Zoom meeting in your email.
