SRED 6420 - Introduction to Real Estate Finance

Richard Allen is the Vice President of Development Finance at HRI Properties, where he has worked since 2007. In this role, Richard manages all development and financial aspects of large-scale real estate development projects from site control through completion of construction and project stabilization. He has experience modeling, negotiating, and closing NMTC and HTC transactions with multiple parties including Iberia Bank, First NBC, Capital One, First Bank and Trust, U.S. Bancorp Community Development Corporation, Whitney Bank, National New Markets Fund, National Trust Community Investment Corporation, Mid-City Community CDE, Tax Credit Capital, Stonehenge Capital, AEGON, and Chevron.

Richard is also an Adjunct Lecturer at Tulane University, teaching an MBA Level Course, Finance 7310-21 Cases in Real Estate, in the Spring semester in 2012, 2013 and 2014. He has a Master of Finance and a B.S.M. in Finance, both from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business.
