Rachel "Ray" Fontaine is a designer, artist and systems thinker. Her primary objective is to work within a community of creative and passionate individuals to innovate in the areas of education, urban planning, and equal accessibility to opportunity. As Visual Design Coordinator she manages the visual identity of the Tulane School of Architecture.
From San Diego to Dallas to New Orleans to New York to Tokyo to London, and back, Ray explored many lifestyles and career paths, picking up new ideas and creative skills along the way. Ray’s independent art and design projects have been exhibited around the world since 2007 in major cities including Brooklyn, Manhattan, Dallas, Dubai, Singapore, London and Tokyo.
After receiving a Masters of Industrial Design at Pratt Institute, she worked as an independent contractor for major productions including Saturday Night Live, MTV’s Wild N’ Out, RedBull Music Festival, Camp Bisco, and Buku Music + Art Project. Ray returns now to Tulane University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Management and a Minor in Architecture, to use her diverse array of graphic, written, photographic, and leadership skills as a creative professional to make a positive impact in her New Orleans community.
