Nicole Heyman is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Tulane School of Architecture. She received her JD from Loyola Law School New Orleans in 1997. While a law student Ms. Heyman was a member of the Loyola Law Review and participated in the federal extern clerk program as an extern clerk for Magistrate Lance Africk. Upon graduation from law school Ms. Heyman practiced as a toxic tort defense lawyer. In 2006, Ms. Heyman left the practice of law to pursue her LL.M in Environmental & Energy Law at Tulane Law School which she anticipates in May, 2008. She also joined the faculty of the Tulane School of Architecture in 2006 where she continues to teach in the field of environmental law.
