Chris Walker has more than 20 years of development experience in a variety of nonprofit sectors. In addition to successfully securing major gifts, she brings experience in board engagement, strategic planning, and managing within complex organizational structures and operations.
Most recently, Chris served as chief development officer for Mosaic Community Services, a subsidiary of the Sheppard Pratt Health System, where she was responsible for all development operations, served as a member of the senior leadership team and staffed the Board of Directors’ Development Committee.
Her prior experience includes serving as the chief development officer for the Bon Secours Baltimore Health System Foundation, where she was responsible for the foundation’s daily operations, including strategic planning and board engagement. In this position, she also served as a member of the senior leadership team for the Health System. Her professional background includes higher education at Temple University in Philadelphia where she served as a major gift officer for the College of Education, securing the college’s first $1 million center endowment.
Chris’ passion for Tulane is fueled by her experience as a parent of a Tulane student. When not working, Chris enjoys a variety of recreational activities from jogging to martial arts, sewing, gardening and cooking.
