Brian Rome

Brian Rousseau Rome is a founding Partner of Rome Office, which is located in his home town of New Orleans, Louisiana. He has practiced architecture, interior design, and planning for the past eight years in the United States, Denmark, Netherlands, and China.

Before founding Rome Office, Brian was a Project Leader at BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group) in New York City. At BIG, he worked directly with Bjarke Ingels producing architectural and urban designs on some of the most prominent projects around the world. His focus at BIG was in leading the design and development stages of many significant hi-rise projects.

Prior to BIG, Brian worked at the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) in Rotterdam. There, he contributed to both design and research projects, including the award winning Le Dauphin restaurant in Paris, France.

He received his Master of Architecture from The University of Texas at Austin where he was awarded the Louis F. Southerland Endowed Scholarship. He also has a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Clemson University.
