News 2009 Preservation Studies Summer Field School held from Monday July 13th - Friday July 31st.

The program is a 3 week intense program with a focus on architectural conservation with an interdisciplinary approach. Classes will meet 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday with two additional Saturday field trips. Students will earn a total of 5 Credit hours for two courses. Hands-on projects include learning how to apply a traditional three-coat lime-based plaster, masonry conservation and how to hand-pigment and apply limewash. Many other exciting lecture topics and field trips to historic plantations will be included.
