News Professor Klingman takes students to Japan
Professor John Klingman has returned from a two week intensive field trip with thirteen students to Japan. Together with faculty member Clare Olsen, he has inaugurated this first TSA venture to Japan. Upon returning, students are designing a Japanese consulate for New Orleans.
Also, published in the June issue of New Orleans Magazine, is this year’s selection of the best new New Orleans architecture 2007 by Professor Klingman. It features the School’s URBANbuild II and GREENbuild projects.
Through the Tulane City Center, he is involved in the design of a library for the Green Charter School in New Orleans.
Professor Klingman received the 2008 Malcolm Heard TSA Teaching Award, presented by the graduating class, and he was elected to chair the Dean Search Committee.
