Danielle Vachon (MSRED '13) is Assistant Project Manager at Boulder Housing Partners and is responsible for the 1175 Lee Hill development of 31 furnished, one-bedroom apartments for the chronically homeless.

"This is "Housing First," a model that began in New York and Seattle in the early 1990s and has proven effective at reducing homelessness among the neediest, most hard-to-reach populations, and at helping people from that population become more stable, meaning they are more likely to pursue mental health treatment and moderate their substance use.
