Alum Michael Kahn, TSA, SLA ’13, has been named architectural contributor and critic of ArtsATL. ArtsATL provides comprehensive coverage of the arts in metro Atlanta.  Founded in 2009 as ArtsCriticATL.com, the site publishes reviews, news, commentary and other information about music, theater, visual art and design, dance, movies, books and the cross-disciplinary events that characterize the city’s vibrant arts scene.  He joins a staff which includes longtime critics and journalists as well as emerging voices.

Kahn’s first article was published February 4, reviewing Cooper Carry’s recently completed North Atlanta High School (http://www.artsatl.com/2014/02/review-cooper-carry-creatively-transforms-high-rise-north-atlanta-high-school/).  While working full-time at a local architecture firm, Kahn is slated to produce fortnightly reviews of new buildings as well as articles profiling Atlanta neighborhoods and other prominent features of the city’s built landscape.
