Nick Jenisch Helps Design The NOLA GreenLine

Jun 19, 2013Alumnus Nick Jenisch, TSA'03, has joined the efforts of the Tulane City Center in conducting community outreach design services for the GreenLine, a former rail bed that bisects the Hollygrove neighborhood. Designs for the GreenLine, conducted in partnership with the Carrollton/Hollygrove Community Development Corporation and Trinity Christian Communities, include water management education through rain gardens and other devices, plots for urban farming, recreational paths, and park & event space. Professor Judith Kinnard leads the project, along with dedicated City Center students and staff. Jenisch joins the collaborative team as they embark on the first installations of rain gardens this summer. He currently serves as Project Director for the Tulane Regional Urban Design Center.
