Fieldwork: Design Build Conversations

The past, present and future of design-build in architectural education

Symposium

Join us in New Orleans for this critical conversation on the past, present and future of design-build in architectural education. Leading educators and practitioners from across the country will share their perspectives on the context, methods, and contribution of design-build curricula, examining roles, works and impacts at diverse scales and geographies.

Speakers include Coleman Coker of Gulf Coast DesignLab, Katherine Hogan of Tonic Design, Adam Hopfner of Yale's Block Building Project, and dozens more.

We kick-off Friday, Jan. 25, 2019, at 1:00 pm and end the evening with a reception and gumbo. On Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019, panels begin at 10:00 am and conclude with the final keynote at 4:00 p.m.

This event is free and open to the public.
