Murray Hidary + Tomas Koolhaas Performance and Discussion
The Tulane School of Architecture Graduate Student Government are proud to present: "Look & Listen: Explorations in music, architecture and visualizing the conceptual," a performance and discussion with Murray Hidary and Tomas Koolhaas, composer and filmmaker of the upcoming documentary REM. This event is a part of the Graduate Colloquium.
Join the local architecture and design community for an evening of music and architecture. The Tulane School of Architecture graduate students have invited composer Murray Hidary and filmmaker Tomas Koolhaas to New Orleans for a special evening celebrating their unique collaboration on the forthcoming documentary film, REM, based on the life and work of Rem Koolhaas.
Following a reception at 5:30 pm, Hidary and Koolhaas will introduce the film and show select rushes that have been edited by Koolhaas into a purpose-made sequence of images to be accompanied by a live musical performance by Hidary. Following the first musical set there will be a "talk-back" with the artists, followed by a second set of music by Mr. Hidary from his original "Mind Travel" performance series. This event is free and open to the public. The Bolden Bar will be open before and after the performance. The free performance will begin at 7 pm.
