Will discuss challenges, potential for creative labor in contemporary cities
New Orleans, LA British scholar Dr. Andy Pratt will give a keynote lecture on cultural economies at Tulane University’s inaugural Framing Cities: Understanding Equities of Place symposium on Wednesday, February 12, 6:30pm, at the Freeman Auditorium in the Woldenberg Art Center on Tulane’s campus. His talk, “Can the Creative Economy Save New Orleans? Global Lessons,” will examine the implications of cities’ increased investment in creative industries and the challenges and opportunities facing individuals who pursue creative or cultural work. The event, along with all other symposium activities is free and open to the public.
