The Graduate Student Government will be hosting three lecturers for a symposia this Friday night around the theme of "humility," which will be open for everyone to attend.

Following the lecture, we will be hosting a reception at the Alumni House on campus for graduate students and faculty. 

The term "humility" comes from the latin word humilitas, a noun related to the adjective humilis, which may be translated as "humble", but also as "grounded", "from the earth", or "low",since it derives in turn from humus,meaning "earth."
