Career Explorations in Architecture

Instructor: M. Crosby

4.0 Credits

Architecture combines the practical concerns of building with the artistic concerns of design. This combination requires creativity rarely called for in secondary school. The Career Explorations in Architecture Program at Tulane, which runs for three weeks, was established to offer high school students a significant first experience in architectural education. The program gives students an opportunity to participate in the process of design and to develop the basic tools of imagination and expression. Although the program was originally designed for high school students, undergraduate non-majors are also welcome.
