COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is intended to prepare students who will study in Rome in the Fall to gain the most from this extraordinary experience. 

The first part of the course will be dedicated to a crash-course/introduction to Italian language. We will follow up with explorations in free-hand sketching. This familiarization with free-hand drawing conventions and techniques, which you will continue to build upon during the Fall semester and through a specific course will become a most valuable asset for visual note-taking while abroad.
